Description
The Glory Dayz has the outline of a 60’s twin fin in the first half of the board that blends into a tight pin tail reminiscent of 70’s guns. The board is easy to paddle yet can turn tightly in the pocket, with speed and control down the line.
A flat rocker curve, accelerated at the nose enables you to paddle into waves earlier, yet the board will still cope with later take offs, and turning at a waves steeper section without pearling.
The lower curve going back to the tail helps the board generate momentum, keeping the speed up through flatter sections, and in smaller surf.
The rail shape is very full, with an almost round radius towards the front. From the middle the rail begins fading into a tighter, low volume 60/40 profile to reduce drag, before rolling into a typical down rail out of the tail.
The nose starts with a slight round V into flat forward of the middle for increased paddling power. From the middle, a medium depth single concave transitions to a double concave through the fins, then to a slight V out the tail. This adds speed and quick rail-to-rail responsiveness.
